Amanda Hansen
Amanda Hansen is at the helm of AHG. She is an accomplished marketing and public relations executive who consistently delivers transformative results for clients. She has established an exemplary professional identity through an unrelenting passion for realizing visionary concepts and comprehensive marketing and communications strategies for clients.
Throughout her career as a leader and mentor, Amanda has connected the dots between people, organizations, and talents and fully supported their endeavors. She is a seasoned communicator who’s been there/done that on both sides of the desk. Intuitive about what resonates with audiences. Amanda is a savvy rule follower who simultaneously colors outside the lines.
Executive leadership priors include Houston President at a prominent national travel and tourism agency, LHG, senior vice president at MMI Agency (now Crispin), and vice president of Marketing at Houston Golf Association.
Amanda is an extremely proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Mays Business School.

Jay Hickman, Vice President
Jay is an accomplished agency leader and integrated marketing expert with 20 years of experience in public relations/communications agencies and a proven track record for connecting brands to key audiences, crafting compelling messages and creating integrated campaigns that link directly to business results. As vice president, Jay oversees public relations strategy for clients across industries, directing efforts in media relations, public affairs, community relations and writing and editing for executive thought leadership, as well as owned and paid channels. Jay brings deep communications and branding expertise in health care, non-profit, CPG, insurance, travel, hospitality and law.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rice University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Houston.

Matt Southall, Creative Director
Matt Southall will lead as Art Director and Graphic Designer. Having grown up in a small- town outside of Birmingham, England, Matt has enjoyed an exciting and diverse creative career that spans destinations, non-profit, architecture, energy, retail, restaurant, real estate, professional sports marketing, publishing, branding and innovative print/digital creative. His passion is advertising campaigns and branding. Logo work is an art form for Matt. He has several national awards for his designs. Matt believes in big and small ideas that create trackable results and resounding client successes.

Rick King, Creative Director
Rick King is a national Emmy-winning writer, producer and director, and has garnered over 100 awards as a creative director/writer. He has worked with Pearland Economic Development Corporation, Jamaica Tourism, Space Center Houston, Galveston Tourism, Procter & Gamble, Verizon Wireless, Russell Lands (Lake Martin, Alabama), Greater Houston Partnership, Pearland Texas EDC, Sugar Land Townsquare, The Woodlands, City of Baytown Tourism, Louisiana State University, Europcar, The Houston Texans, The Houston Zoo, The Houston Museum of Natural Science, Mississippi Power and The GAP. He is a featured alumnus with the University of Texas at Austin and has worked on projects with Former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, White House Photographer Frank Wolf, Former First Lady Lady Bird Johnson, the motion picture Forrest Gump, Oscar-nominated Screenwriter Bill Broyles, actor Charles Kimbrough, and Hollywood icons Wilford Brimley and Shelley Duvall. His popular book Bodie & The Burnt Orange Sunset was sold in bookstores and famed tourism centers across Texas including The Alamo, Luckenbach General Store, LBJ Presidential Library and Texas History Museum.

Kelly Leeker, Account Manager
Kelly specializes in marketing, advertising, and program management. Kelly is integral to the team, having supported clients in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, real estate, retail, economic development, non-profit and influencer marketing, including top brands such as MD Anderson Cancer Center and Academy Sports and Outdoors.
Prior to joining AHG, Kelly spent 4 years in influencer advertising, working as a Marketing Manager for local influencers such as CSTYLE and Willowcrowns to name a few. Kelly graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Education.

Jessica Mason, PR Manager
Jessica Mason is a highly creative and results-oriented public relations professional with 20 years of agency and nonprofit experience. She is an engaging presenter and leader skilled at planning national campaigns, managing multiple clients, social media, media relations, writing and event planning.
Prior to joining AHG, Jessica worked at global and boutique PR agencies in New York and Houston where she managed notable brands, including Kellogg Company, Kraft Foods, Walmart, H-E-B, Pinkberry, Nolan Ryan Beef and Central Market. In addition, Jessica has handled social media campaigns for public figures and businesses alike, including Captain Keith Colburn of the Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch” and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.
From launching new products to managing high-profile press events, Jessica has landed coverage for clients on the “Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “CBS Early Show,” “Fox and Friends,” USA Today, New York Daily News, Houston Chronicle,Redbook, Real Simple, Cooking Light, Family Circle, Self and Shape.
Jessica graduated from the University of Central Arkansas where she earned a B.A. in communications with a minor in marketing.

Cindy Marion, Advisor
Cindy Marion founded MMI Agency in 1986, growing it into a $60 million firm with 150 employees across offices in Houston, Cincinnati, and Washington, D.C. Under her leadership, MMI became Houston’s second-largest marketing agency, known for serving major brands like Procter & Gamble, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Amazon. In 2018, Cindy sold MMI, which now operates as Crispin, and retired after 32 years as Founder and CEO.
Throughout her career, Cindy earned recognition for her contributions, including an Emmy Award for a national public service campaign, multiple Entrepreneur of the Year nominations, and leadership of award-winning branding initiatives for the City of Houston. She has served on several boards, including Stellar Bank, Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business Advisory Board, and SEARCH Homeless Services, and remains active in mentoring young professionals and entrepreneurs.
Today, Cindy serves as an Advisor to Amanda Hansen Group (AHG), an agency founded by Amanda Hansen, a former leader and long-time MMI employee. Many AHG team members also worked under Cindy’s leadership at MMI. In this role, Cindy lends her expertise, strategic insights, and mentorship to support Amanda as she leads the agency’s growth and vision for the future.
